Whether the lecture is in front of a panel of experts, the official speech is to the Advisory Council on the Assessment of Overall Economic Development or you need to make a small speech for the anniversary of an employee; you can save your listeners from meaningless phrases, encyclopedic wisdom, and long detours and instead simply say exactly what you want to say — clear, authentic, compelling and at best with a sense of humor.
