You Found a Gap in the Market and Now You Want to Fill It? |
Do you know the saying: "Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton was the one who asked why."
The
dream of a lot of entrepreneurs is it to invent something totally new.
Retrospectively some of the
most successful business ideas are so obvious that some
of us could have had the same idea - or even did have them but didn't follow
the path to realize them.
In my
profession I regularly meet
people who want to go into business because they have noticed a gap in
the market.
I
learned that finding a gap isn't enough to consider it is a project worth investing in.
Maybe
others tried selling in this area without success.
Don't
make the assumptions that finding a gap is enough. Maybe others didn't succeed because their product or service wasn't as good as yours is now. Either way, with some investigation you will be far more informed and prepared. To assure you don't flatter yourself have a session with a professional conversation partner. |
